Rapala Reaction original oil painting of Largemouth Bass

The Rapala Reaction was inspired by my early fishing experiences, and an homage to the Legendary Rapala fishing lure. I have caught all manner of both freshwater and saltwater fish with Rapalas, and would consider it my favorite lure. Largemouth Bass were my first target gamefish, and remain amongst my favorite prey. The painting is one of my earlier pieces and done before I started taking progression pictures, so I've included 'close up' pictures to share the thick impasto style of painting I enjoy.

It was completed in August of 2004, and is a 16"x 20" canvas in an 'display only' basic black frame.
