Ceramic blue jeans bake-ware

These jeans are the second use version of this vintage Duncan mold circa 1977 in the Ceramic Gallery. They are 6 5/16" Tall, 9" Wide, 6 5/8" Front to back, and 6" Deep. The food capacity is 3 quarts. The macaroni & cheese recipe shown normally fills a 13" x 9" baking pan. The baked beans shown is a 6 lb. batch. It will hold a maximum of 100 oz.
NOTE: No food will be included... Sorry.

I mix and pour the slip, clean the green-ware, and fire each piece to bisque, and glaze individually, so they can be custom ordered to fit your gift or business needs. Painted with either light or dark* blue denim blue, a tan leather patch, and a clear glaze on the interior and bottom. Each pair is Food Safe, Waterproof; Oven, Microwave, and Dishwasher Safe.

The pair pictured in the dishwasher is one of my own and 11 years old! The Gold snap and rivets are an exterior decoration and safe for oven use Only; because metallic glazes will damage microwave ovens and can pose a fire hazard, they cannot be offered for general food use pieces.*
*FOOD USE NOTES: Metallic and Crystalline decorative glazes Are Not used on food safe or microwave use pieces, and cannot be requested as such. The snap and rivets will come glazed in the same exterior color on food service pieces. Any other custom colors, or text to be included on the 'leather patch' can be requested in the "Notes to Seller Box".

These jeans are adorable and very versatile. Whether used as bake-ware, cold salad or jello service, decorative memorabilia for utensils, or as a planter without drainage they are a great addition to your kitchen, or as a gift for a friend.
